CLINICS
PREVENTION
We believe strongly in this. We offer health checks to all aged over
16 and strongly advise everyone to have a tetanus booster every ten
years. These can be booked with the practice nurse. We provide advice
on how to give up smoking and/or drinking and also on how to lose weight.
These problems require some discussion so we ask you to make appointments
for these with the doctors.
CONTRACEPTION
We offer a full range of contraceptive services including fitting of
coils. Please ask at reception for an appointment.
CERVICAL SMEARS
These can be booked with either the doctor or the practice nurses.
MATERNITY SERVICES
We are happy to look after you in pregnancy and hold an antenatal clinic
on Thursday and Friday afternoons. We can also offer this service
to patients not registered with us.
HRT IMPLANTS
HRT implants are carried out at this Surgery.
TRAVEL VACCINATIONS
We are a designated Yellow Fever centre and can offer a full range of
holiday vaccinations and advice.
An appointment with a practice nurse is necessary.
CLINICS
We perform a range of minor surgery procedures
including the removal of lumps, freezing of warts etc and injections
into joints etc for pain relief.
